Lover's Key State Park is a 1,616 acre park. It has 2.5 miles of white sandy beaches. See ospreys nesting, sea turtles crawling and, if lucky, a bald eagle. Kayak, swim, canoe, bike, fish, hike and picnic.

Bottlenose Dolphins are found in the Gulf of Mexico and are 8-9 feet in size. Their brain is comparable in size to humans, and they have 2 lungs. They can hold their breathe for 8-10 minutes.
Collect sea shells and look for sand dollars on the beach. If you would like to collect their shells, the best time to comb the beach is after the tide recedes.
Why not see if you can spot a starfish? They often wash up on the beach after a storm and become stranded when the tide goes out. They can survive if the sun doesn't dry them before the next tide. Do not remove starfish from the beach.

Estero Island, better known as Fort Myers Beach, is a barrier island, 7 miles long and considered one of the safest beaches in the world due to the calm waters, easy access and gentle slope of the Gulf's bottom.
Water sports, fishing, golf, tennis, boat rentals, cruise ship to The Keys, casino boat, bike & scooter rentals, are all on the island.
The beautiful white sandy beaches, outstanding restaurants, the exciting Times Square Pier and Towne center are only a small part of what Fort Myers Beach has to offer.
Over 1.8 million visitors enjoy the barrier island of Fort Myers Beach each year. The island is 6.2 sq. mi. of which 2.9 sq. mi. are island and 3.3 sq. mi. water.
No wonder it is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the USA.
